Hey all, had a question to those that could help. I’m currently trying to book a one way fjord cruise from Bergen to Flam. The only issue that we have is that we have a rental car and am not sure which of the cruises could accommodate the car as well. I was taking a look at the Norled site and I think this may be a booking for 4 adults + a car? I’m not entirely sure though as “buss” in Norwegian translates to “bus” in English. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Buss means bus. Car is «bil» in Norwegian.
You probably dont have to book. Just meet up.
That is no car ferry, it is a passenger expressboat. As far as I can see there is no car ferry service between Bergen and Flåm.
The ship from Strandkaiterminalen to Flåm is a high speed catamaran, with zero room for vehicles.
If you need to take a car, you can drive to Flåm or Gudvangen. It takes about 2,5 hours from Bergen, the boat takes over 5 hours.
There is a ferry you can take from Gudvangen to Flåm of vice versa. That will show you the nærøyfjord. You will miss the coast and the long trek into Sognefjorden by driving versus taking the boat.
Not going to lie. i do think you’d enjoy driving there more, and stop to see the viking village in gudvangen, perhaps try some goat cheese from undredal, stop in flåm and take a walk to see whats around. and go to Aurland and see the viewpoint. its a pretty nice drive tbh.
There is no cruise ferry going from Bergen innthrough Sognefjorden. There is a passenger express boat. If you already have a car in Bergen you could just drive there. Follow E16 towards Voss and Oslo. Eventually you’ll reach the long tunnel of Gudvangatunellen. Then Flåm is right around the corner.
