  1. These are 16-17 year olds, not little children. And let’s face it, some could even be adults. What are they supposed to do with them, in a country that doesn’t have enough foster homes etc for the native population? Serious question.

  2. > According to the Land Registry, the freehold of the hotel is owned by a company that involves family members of the infamous Nicholas van Hoogstraten.

Could they at least have a rule about not using hotels that are connected to a criminal?

  3. Has anyone asked where their parents are?

If a child can travel alone across several continents, I wouldn’t call them vulnerable in the slightest

  4. Ah roll on the racists.

LOOK AFTER OUR OWN FIRST!!! Followed by :

WHY THE FUCK SHOULD MY TAX MONEY BE SPENT FEEDING POOR KIDS DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS?!

Usually accompanied with BUT OUR VETERANS!!!

Followed by DON’T HOUSE THOSE HOMELESS PRICKS ON MY STREET I DON’T CARE IF THEY WERE IN THE ARMY!!

Don’t forget NURSES!! GOD BLESS THEM!!! Followed by I DON’T CARE IF THEY’RE USING FOOD BANKS & HAVE HAD A 30% PAY CUT!! IT’S VOCATIONAL INNIT!!!

Then you point out that if they earn under £40k THEY are net tax drains on society they get VERY VERY shirty

  5. Can we stop with headlines suggesting some mass genocide or supernatural cause? Vast majority of these people just left and never came back there but they are still most likely in UK, doing, only they know what. And there’s a good chance these “children” weren’t even children to begin with

  6. It’s so funny watching the country just implode around us. Absolutely nothings works, everywhere is a shithole with no investment, rich people flaunting wealth everywhere, scummy landlords and housing practices, nobody can afford to hear their crumbling houses, threats of violence visible on the streets with no police response, healthcare crumbling… I could go on forever.

This country is in for a turbulent next decade.
