I’ve taken up a hobby of playing along with them with their whole “Im busy with work but can have DPD do the sale”. Giving them addresses to Garda Scam Offices etc and fake emails (example attached).
Literally 95% of potential buyers are scammers so I like wasting their time. Anyone have any ideas for the next one 😂

Good man, doing the lords work 👍
Give them the number of the Garda scam offices.
Make an email you can access so you also get some scammer emails to forward on to the Ngaarrrrddaaaííí
Much better idea, I’ve been replying with the following

I’d say give them the address you’ve provided but with a less suss email.
Hope the fuckers don’t actually check where the address is for and sends it to the scam office themselves.
Bit of a tip I read elsewhere the other day to filter out these scams. If the person inquiring is their own profile picture rather than the picture of the item you’re selling they’re likely to be a bot.
Can you give one scammer the contact info of the other scammer and then they will be very annoyed and confused
I’ve just been sending them pictures of giants cocks and then blocking them. Every once in a while I think about them receiving a picture of a giant dick and not being able to retaliate and it makes me laugh to myself
If 95% of sellers are scammers why the fuck people even use this platform?
Tried to sell a bike and fuck me I got 85% scam replies
You made your first mistake by attempting to sell via Facebook marketplace. My god, it is useless.
I keep the phone scams on the phone as long as possible pretending to be a demented oul wan that knows nothing about technology. I throw in an odd joke and they pretend to find it funny. Start telling stories about the grandkids. It takes me about 10 mins to figure out what phone I have until they realise I have a touch pad Nokia (they’re trying to get me to download an app).
