To be fair, it’s difficult enough for some people in Britain to know the difference. Obviously everyone in Ireland knows the difference. . British, British isles, united kingdom, Britain, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, England, Scotland & wales. All mean something different and yet all cross over with other options.
That said, if you are interviewing someone… make the fuck sure you know where they are from
