Hey, fellow Redditors! Last night, something magical happened. I woke up in the dead of night, feeling a chill breeze caress my face. It turns out my window was left open, but that’s when the real enchantment began. As I lay in bed, shivering yet captivated, I gazed upon a sky adorned with countless shimmering stars. Right there, in all its celestial glory, the Big Dipper hung prominently before my eyes. It was a breathtaking moment that I couldn’t keep to myself. So, I wanted to share this wondrous experience with you all. Have any of you encountered such serene midnight encounters under a starry sky? Let’s discuss!

I’m glad you had this nice atmosphere and I appreciate you sharing it with us!
So good!
It’s pretty hypnotic to sit in the garden looking up! Love watching satellites and seeing the space station too.
I can sit outside for hours looking at the view.. I had a good telescope before but actually prefer to just look at the whole sky, then you get to see the shooting stars too..
Last night actually we saw ‘something’ strange over the direction of Geneva at midnight. Two bright starts sort of pulsed really white and and three others nearby sort of spiralled around them and disappeared and the two went back to normal brightness again. Hard to describe, it was just weird.
