It’s interesting to wonder who in Britain is interested in Britain becoming much closer to absolute autocracies and why, aside from the obvious love of selling weapons and “training” to them. Also worth considering it in the context of not just Brexit it but the hyper acrimonious and destructive Brexit that the Tory party is obsessed with and that has done such damage to Britain’s relationships.
