How much did every other way of getting into the UK drop in 2021?
I seem to remember quite a long period where it was close to impossible to get into the country by plane…
No one saw that coming …. except every remain voter in the country.
The whole premis of Brexit was immigration that has tripled since then. Dumbass brexiteers.
The longer this problem continues, the larger it will grow. Economic migrants such as these people will see their opportunity and take their chances to get through. Had the UK shown a hardline and stopped this cold years ago, things would be very different (and lives would have been saved).
The whole notion that somehow these people are desparate to escape the French tyranny in Calais is about as laugable as it is disingenious – and about 5 years out of date.
