Does anyone else feel this article would be less sympathetic if this man was of the working class as opposed to the middle? And I say this as a recovering drug addict.
I literally couldn’t fathom this level of understanding article being written had the man defrauded the benefit system to pay for a gambling addiction. In fact, drug addicts have been shat on by the BBC for stealing far less .
All doctors are bastards. The recent spate of NHS staff committing crimes is indicative of an endemic culture of sexism and racism within the NHS. And they always cover it up! /s
wtf does a doctor have to do to get struck off if he’s only going to be suspended?
I drink alcohol and go to the pub I’m not an alcoholic. I gamble occasionally but I’m not addicted.it’s all about self control. You have to have a certain state of mind for addiction if it wasn’t gambling it would be something else to get addicted too
