  1. She attempted to lie and say he was sexually harassing her. But of course, men are constantly told that false allegations are so rare

    Glad he won the case

  2. Sex discrimination?
I believe both genders have backsides.

    Assault, sure.
But how is this a sex thing?

    *edit*
Blimey, -4. I’ve had my arse kicked.
Who do I talk to about registering this as sexual discrimination?

  3. Good, workers shouldn’t be sexually harassing other workers and then get away with it. I had a colleague have her bra unclipped by a coworker as a joke and he got a slap on the wrist. It’s unacceptable and should be taken seriously for both sexes.

  4. >He recounted the first incident where Ms Asante ‘smirked’ at him as as she walked away from kicking his backside and said he had ‘no idea’ why she had done it.

    >Telling bosses about being kneed, he said it had been ‘eight out of 10’ on the pain scale and he’d had problems with his bowel since.

Christ, how hard was the kneeing if it’s an 8/10 on the pain scale?! If the kneeing was actually that bad, he should have called the police, because if that’s true, it’s grievous bodily harm, since it apparently managed to damage his bowel.

  5. She should’ve been tried by the courts for assault too..

  6. Will get down voted into oblivion for saying it but my god, what a baby. Stand up for yourself. Reading this story was one long cringe. Poor adult man got kicked on the bum by a girl and had to go to the doctor for the non existent injury. ‘But imagine if a man did it to a woman’ yes but it wasn’t, it was a woman doing it to a man. Men and women are of equal worth but they are not the same. The dynamic is not the same. Women are not the same threat to men that men are to women. This is pitiful.

  7. That article would be improved infinitely with a photo of the victim with the standard ‘compo face’ pointing at his rear end pointing at where he’d been kicked.

  8. If anyone reads the tribunal summary, he was angling and strategising to make as much fuss about this as he could. And asda fucked up the investigation from the start. He was never accused by Asda of inappropriate touching, because the woman saying it said it wasn’t inappropriate- it was how they interacted with eachother.
