Well we might not deserve all the hate for this specific article, but generally speaking people complaining about our country’s attitude in this Ukraine war have a point. We’re benefiting a lot from the war (look at Geneva’s finances) and our help to Ukraine is minimalistic at best, we can and should do better.
I’m not saying we should screw our economy, but maybe be a little bit more flexible with reexportation of weapons sold to other European countries.
Just saying, when there’s such a consensus on criticising Switzerland from most western countries, it’s not a bad idea to take a step back and try to understand why. Who knows, they might have a point.
At this point I’ve stopped caring. Armchair warriors in Reddit are losers with zero actual influence on anything. They say they’ll boycott swiss watches or Nestlé or whatever, but I bet 99% of them can’t even afford a cailler.
