Czołem! Today marks 454 years since the signing of the Union of Lublin. It replaced the personal union of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania with a real union. As a result, a state known as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was born – with a common monarch, coat of arms, the Sejm, currency, foreign and defense policy, but separate treasury, offices, army and judiciary. Gloria Res Publica Utriusque Nationis!

Happy Polish Commonwealth celebration day 😁
Everyone looks cool but I vote for ninja guy in red clothes performing his jutsu. He is in the right corner of the painting with all his glory.
Often forgotten by the public in western europe but they actually werr a powerhouse in eastern europe.
Wrote an essay this semester about the commonwealth.
