When you keep seeing those sorts of low sentences for inflicting life changing injuries, it becomes increasingly difficult to see the justice system as truly legitimate.

But with Mandatory Remission, that will be 2 years and 3 months.
Well done, Ireland. Vicious unprovoked assault and he spends just over 2 years in jail…
Ugh! Fuck the law and it’s unjust sentencing.
