Dee Forbes is so fucking inept at doing anything that after their collective decision that Forbes and Forbes herself alone throw herself on the grenade, she missed.
The whole board/management team is rotten and needs to be replaced.

Gut the fuck out of RTE. Fire ALL the executive board. Put a limit on presenter salaries. And start fresh. The amount of waste and corruption in that organisation is obscene.
Divert all their cut funding to TG4, who actually does an amazing job on a shoestring budget.
The premise from the outset was that Dee Forbes knew all along. I wonder what other bosses the article is referring to.
Of course they knew but it was easier for Forbes to take the fall.

Unless the payments were illegal – what difference does it make if they knew or didn’t know? There are countless legal actions going to come out of this – between Tubs/Forbes, the PAC could even find themselves in the firing line – asking questions and forcing people to give answers that there may be no legal basis. Asking the CFO his salary for instance – what basis was there for this? If you even listen to the question that was ask… “If you don’t mind, what is your salary…” – well it was clear that he did mind, yet he was push for forced to give a reply – on the basis that it would be unveiled yet here we are are a few days later and I haven’t seen any other board members salary published… wonder why that is?
Why don’t we take example from France and do a real protest?

Why should we be prosecuted for not paying a TV license when that money is not used in any way to our advantage
