NDH (Nezavisna Država Hrvatska) was a fascist puppet state. It was mostly Croatians – hence the name, and it was established in 1941. Obviously, people in Austria don’t know it so they gave them this license. Would you report something like this?

i think the police is where to at least ask but they might question the owner’s intent and not follow up.
This obviously contradicts [§ 48a (2) of the Motor Vehicle Act (KFG)](https://www.ris.bka.gv.at/GeltendeFassung.wxe?Abfrage=Bundesnormen&Gesetzesnummer=10011384), as it is an “offensive combination of letters and numbers.”
Perhaps you could call the non-emergency police service number (059133) and ask them?

Hätte mit NDH eher auf Neue Deutsche Härte getippt.
Wenn er so stolz auf einen „rein kroatischen Staat“ ist, sollte er vielleicht nicht mit einem österreichischen Kennzeichen herumfahren. Nichts ist lächerlicher, als ein Nationalist, der im Ausland lebt.
DAS Kennzeichen können vlt. wenige woke interpretieren, aber heutzutage kann/muß man sich ja über jeden FURZ/SCHAS aufregen…
