Hello,

Before i went to uni (if all goes to plan i’m done in october, yay) i put my money (from an inheritance) into i think this fund https://www.finanzen.net/fonds/lux-croissance-i-a-lu0035730109 It was going ok i guess until the end of 2021 but now it has left me with a 6% loss and i feel very annoyed. Of course i was too much of an idiot back then to make a better investment choice. If that had all been in the S&P500 instead i would now have an almost life changing amount of money extra, instead of a net loss. How exactly should i proceed now? I with real estate prices still as bad as they are i don’t think i will buy anything in luxembourg (even if i get a great government job i wouldn’t be able to afford the monthly payments anyway…), but maybe over the border. I’m in no immediate rush to do it as i first want to wait until i get a decent job with cdi before i make any major decisions about my future.

So the question is now if i should leave the money or sell it all, take the loss and put it into an s&p 500 or maybe a world index fund. (i don’t yet know how to do that because as little as i trust the banks i also don’t trust random websites). Spuerkees actually called me and i assume wanted me to put money into one of their fixed plans where they hold the money for a period of time but then give you a predetermined amount of interest when they give it back. I don’t want that because i want the money available if real estate ever crashes here. and i find it pretty insulting tbh

I honestly don’t trust the european economy anymore either. Too much shit can happen here while the USA can laugh. When we have war their defense industry booms. of course their market can implode too, but if that happens it implodes in europe too. At that point it’s better to just have the money in the savings account.

I’m really frustrated and don’t want to make bad decisions, but i fear i’m cursed by bad luck no matter what i do.

Thank you if you read all of that.
