I am coming to Finland next week, crazy excited, and want to take a river cruise. There are two that I see, different paths, but otherwise similar. There’s the [Canal Cruise](https://www.myhelsinki.fi/en/see-and-do/activities/beautiful-canal-cruise) and [City Highlights Cruise](https://www.myhelsinki.fi/en/see-and-do/activities/city-highlights-cruise). Thoughts on either of these? Better experience?

Archipelago cruise. They are both nice and not that different. Pick either one.
I’m native from the Helsinki area, and I like these cruises. You get to see the city (with surroundings) from a different point of view than normally.
Both of them are ok. Pretty similar route/sights. If you are interested about archipelago I would recommend one that is in Espoo (the next city). More info here https://www.espoo.fi/en/sports-and-nature/archipelago/scheduled-archipelago-boats
