People’s ability protest are being eroded. This all goes back to neutering unions in the 1980s by Thatch. We need a strong Labour leader to come out and say that all these freedoms that are ended by Tory oppression will be rolled back and removed. This should be the mandate of every Labour government.
We need the people to take control and be able to make sure their voice is heard, respected and acted upon.
Well I have a horrible feeling we’re soon be seeing headlines about how these new powers are getting abused.
Still maybe we’re get lucky and the underfunded, understaffed police forces and CPS will be to busy with everything else to focus on them.
These will be celebrated by many, until suddenly there’s something those people want to protest about, they’re thrown in prison and they say ‘what about free speech????????’

Love that fossil fuel companies get to write policy. They know what’s best for Brits and the planet.
This is one of the early signs of Fascism – cracking down on protests and giving the police extra powers.
Just wait until climate change starts to really bite and wait to see what the people in power do then.
Remember though, what we should be discussing is just stop oils tactics!

The point of protest is to disturb and shut stuff down so change happens and got do for a long time to as well. as doing for one day wont do anything as they know you be back work next day.
