Have you ever been to the Bulgarian Riviera?

  1. I think many Eastern Europeans have been there or know of it because it was (and still is) legendary during the Soviet Union times.

  2. Not many. Most Europeans hate us and see our country as unworthy. The xenophobia and hatred is too much to handle sometimes.

Our seaside is objectively beautiful by any standard, but mention Bulgaria and it’s instantly ignored and marginalised. The only comment is from some person talking about the soviet colonisers. Truly sickening.

If you posted these photos without stating it’s Bulgaria, it would get 10k likes but all Bulgaria can get is hatred and slander.

  3. I’ve been to Krapets, Kavarna, Sunny Beach, Sozopol, Balchik. It’s pretty cool

  4. I looked into it before. Frequency and inconvenience of flights made it a no-go for myself. I still want to go one day.

  5. I always preferred to keep my internal organs and not to be victim of human trafficking, so I gave Bulgaria a wide berth. It worked great so far

  6. I’ve always wondered how different the Black Sea is to the Adriatic

  7. Actually yes i visited sunny beach 20 years ago, assuming it has changed a lot since then.

  8. Where is located the building in the fourth picture OP?
