  1. Just a brilliantly ridiculous story.

Pensioner left his phone at a crematorium after a funeral. Went back the next day to get it.

Decides to take a shortcut through a wire fence to avoid climbing a hill on the way back to the tube.

Tries to crawl under a pipe (??!!).

    Gets trapped.

    Stuck there for five days.

Now luckily former local mayor Mr Cummins is ok, why on earth did he decide this was a good idea though.

  2. Why crawl under the pipe when it looks like it could be stepped over?

  3. There is a picture of that pipe, and it makes literally zero sense to crawl under it..? It’s at shin/knee height, and doesn’t even come out to cover the whole alley way.

    For 5 days?

    What on earth?

    >Mr Eaton has launched an online appeal for cash donations for Mr Cummins on the GoFundMe website to help him back to full health.

Anyone else think an old crazy man has just gone and laid down next to a bit of pipe for a few minutes?

  4. *”Mr Cummins said he escaped remarkably unscathed – as the multiple toe amputation was for a previously undiagnosed issue.”*

Can see the signs of diabetes on his legs. This incident might have ironically saved his life as now he will be getting proper treatment and medication.
