Covid: Self-isolation cut from 10 days to seven with negative test

  1. Hang on, I thought lateral flow tests could give false positives for up to 90 days after COVID infection?

  2. I am coming back tonight and I saw that you isolate between when you land & the day you get your PCR result (assuming negative)

  3. If you test negative then I don’t really see why you should still have to isolate any more at all. But this clearly makes sense as a step towards that.

  4. lol when I suggested looking into changing the self isolations time I was downvoted to hell by all the geniuses here. Seems I wasn’t the only one able to see the sense in it.

I really look forward to some of the rabid lunatics that post here defending their positions once this is all over.

  5. So my SO has covid and if she gets a negative lateral flow test on her 7th day she can leave self isolation but because I live with her and I haven’t been double jabbed I still have to isolate for the full 10 days even though I’m testing negative, am I reading this right?
