Source? I doubt that we have 5 times more homicides..
Sorry about the no data for Czechia. We’ve only had one murder, and it was the census guy who got stabbed for being annoying and talking to people.

It’s 0.7 for Czechia.
What’s the deal with Czechia?
Ukraine but not Finland? Or I need geography lessons?

Why is everyone always skipping Bosnia on all maps of this type?
lol, it was in 2020. Almost the totality of people was locked in their home. it would be funny to compare these data to the ones in, like, 2022
Pretty good considering even turkey is a lighter shade than the US would be at nearly 8 per 100000
Hilarious! Sounds like Czechia takes their privacy seriously. 🤣

I think war releated casualties are counted in Ukraine
I’d kms if I was polish or ukrainian too, lmao
I think homicide rate/10k people would give a better picture considering how all the countries are below 10 here.
Laughs in South Eastern United States.
God I hate this place.
Meanwhile in Murica: MUH FREEDOMS
You can not compare this, because different european countries have different standards and laws about how good dead bodies have to be inspected.
In Germany it is enough when the family doctor diagnoses you, and most of them doesn’t do a propper examination, and in other european countries a special coroner has to examine the dead body to diagnose what really killed the person.
Some studies in Germany guessed that half of the murders aren’t discovered. They examined every dead body in a region for some time and guessed this by the number of murders they freshly discovered.
Haha, well at least they take their privacy seriously! 😂
Respect, not even french speaking people can withstand themselves

Based on the post for North America, so I used the same scale : https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/14pcygp/oc_homicide_rate_per_100000_people_by_us_state/
