The media and the government they control have long fostered a culture of humiliation in this country. It is designed to keep people in line and make them fearful of speaking out. While these driving offenses are dangerous and should be dealt with by the police, the “naming and shaming” element is gratuitous and is applied in far less serious cases also. The power structure in this country is among the most stable and deep rooted in the world. Many people know something is wrong, but their voices are drowned out by the culture of compliance enforced not only by the powers that be but by their aphantasiac hordes. I see a vague glimmer of hope, but it requires a change in mindset among the peasantry. Do not worry about the pro-establishment, redditor-tier people who try to shame you or use blunt argumentation that emulates the style of their masters. This calibre of person will support any regime that rules over them. They only support the establishment because it is in their indelible nature to be submissive to authority. Despite their moralising and screeching about “muh far-right” – if an actual far right government came to power they would support it just as enthusiastically as they do this regime. Such is their destiny; to be nameless extras in this chapter of history, buffeted about by the winds of change, rendered genetically incapable of introspection, dissent or the vaguest thoughts of rebellion. Their sense of self preservation, drive and any thoughts that do not benefit the system have all been surgically removed by generations of conditioning. Pity them. Don’t argue with them, don’t fight them as equals, they are not. Entering into any conflict with the orcs of the system will only give those in power a pretext to punish you and subject you to the same humiliation apparatus that they have used to destroy so many lives. Never, ever underestimate the scale of evil we face today.
I’d prefer it if the law were changed to recategorise all these types of offence to dangerous driving, and when caught drivers lose their licence immediately in lieu of their court date. I’d even give them a bus pass to get by with in the mean time. They can catch a bus and sleep/TikTok without killing anyone, and have a good long think about how they aren’t the centre of life on earth. Actions should have consequences that matter.
new york has a policy where if you photograph bad parking and send it to a number set up, you get a percentage of the fines.
imo, this should be a uk wide thing.
driving tests only test memory and basic hazard perception, they dont test for stupidity, and cant test for egocentrism and inattention. and its the last two need removed from the road.
