Switzerland doesn’t want to deal with the fallout of Russia nuking the EU? Shocker.
The only voice against it in the article is from a lobby group and claiming we could become a “target” if we participate. I guess they would rather spend 10x the amount and build their own defensive system? Or just not take part and actually then be even more dependent on the other countries?
Seems more like people that will be against it just for the PR (nEuTraLItY?!?) and lobby interest but not actually against it because they know there are no alternatives for actual protection and know we heavily rely on defense system from other countries.
And (let’s say nukes): good luck dealing with the fallout/exodus of people coming to our country because their countries were not protected enough. A safe EU will lead to less migrations to our country but that’s too big of logical step for a SVP brain.
