So given their height I’m pretty sure they ain’t for beating carpets and I’ve spent ages trying to work out just what this pole structure thing is for.
The building is in Scoul and is from 1869. It was renovated in 1905 where the carved arbours were added to the facade and a chap called Otto Haberer-Sinner painted it who also apparently painted a few famous interiors of buildings and hotels around Switzerland…
But I can’t find out what the poles are used for.
Any ideas?

Looks like children’s swing structure..
Maybe it was part of a roof stucture. Nice house btw.
It has two hooks on the left and right, so I‘d asume it‘s for a swing.

Furthermore, in the middle there‘s a horizontal bar for doing gymnastics
swing and/or for carpet beating
Love a good pole based question
Looks like Scuol/GR for me 😍
