I thought we didn’t have powers to compel attendance for this type of thing, have things changed since the Angela Kerins spectacle?
Now THAT I’d tune in for!
Literally the only time I’d ever intentionally watch Tubridy on TV.
Apparently they have agreed to a €75k appearance fee by Tubridy.
Who says we dont get value for money with the tv license. The PAC show is better than love island, u20s world cup, any gaa football match, all star cast biggest earners in their field.
PAC, Malakai Black and Brody King vs Ryan Tubridy, Noel Kelly and Dee Forbes at All In it is so
The power of Dáil compels you!
Don’t wait. Compel them.
If they’re calling Tubridy it probably means they’re looking for spectacle rather than answers.
Do they mean they want them to appear to tomorrows meeting? How many is there this week?
All three of them have to know they’ll be savaged if they go in front of the PAC. Won’t hold my breath for Kelly or Forbes but I can see a scenario where Ryan Tubridy grasps the nettle and takes the beating. It’d probably go some way to rehabilitating his image if he’s frank and unequivocal in his answers, holds nothing back. If he gets really badly mauled you’ll have a certain number of people feeling sorry for him. As long as they don’t get him to admit anything that is worse than what we already know/suspect from him, I can see this being stage 1 in him clawing his way back to a broadcast career.
Can’t see any upside for Dee Forbes. She’ll only go if she’s forced to. With the possibility of fraud charges she doesn’t want to be forced to admit anything to anyone, let alone a panel of angry TDs looking to mince her in front of the country. Likewise for Kelly. People already think he’s a cunt purely because he’s an agent for overpaid RTE cunts, so the link to dodgy deals and sneaky accounts just pushes him further up the cunt rankings. They’ll actually have fun ripping into him, like killer whales tossing a dead seal around to one another for the craic.
