Didn’t the teacher protested in Hungary also this year? So afte the protest they got worse conditions?
Poland and Hungary are like the most beautiful and depressing baroque paintings. You’ll see exactly what’s happening on the painting and you feel the deepest and saddest emotions about it but you see at the same time that you cannot change What is on that beautiful painting. You can just watch and decide whether you want to be emotionally invested or not. I am having a huge problem for once staying out of this emotional investment.
It’s fine, so many young people are leaving they won’t have any kids to teach soon anyway.
You have to wonder what’s going on in Europe at the moment, we have right and far right making lots of gains but no one wants their policies. Is this a sign of corruption in elections or too many old people?
I wonder how many are going to quit in protest or protest anyway.
This sounds bleak.
Let the brain drain commence.
Let us also finally do something about Orban.

Teachers are the number 1 enemy of facist’s, inteligent people normaly don’t vote for facists. (Some still do)
What could possibly go wrong
At some point we have to accept teachers are becoming obsolete just like the guys who used to light and put off public lighting before electricity became widespread, most are nothing but glorified child guardians to keep them busy while their parents work for the machine.

Who in ever-purpling FUCK is Fidesz expecting to run the country once those running it now have retired? Have they got no longterm anything?
Blame nobody but the hungarian people for this. They had their chance to vote him out if he’s so bad and instead the guy won a decisive victory. Every nation deserves its fate. Talk about rigged elections all you want, he can’t falsify all of the ballots if 80%+ go out and vote. You didn’t vote ? You deserve your fate. And don’t tell me that you can’t, because nearly 90% of the turks voted in Turkey’s elections. If they can, so can you.
Somehow i don’t think that dictators want an educated populace

Hungary, a country that has turned democratic backsliding into a sport of its own. We’ll see if it can backslide faster than it can intensify the brain drain that has happened for the last 30 years or so.
I love the Hungarian people having visited the country twice. Really sucks to read this kind of news over and over again. Authoritarian rule is not what the people deserve, and it happens in the middle of Europe. Mind boggling.
