  1. I have a feeling the SNP is gonna learn some lessons the hard way come next election.

  2. – Elected as youngest ever MP

    – Works for constituency for 10 years

    – Doesn’t have a single scandal

    – Still popular in and outside her constituency

    – Made deputy party leader in Westminster

    – Refuses to elaborate

    – leaves

More MPs like Mhairi Black please.

  3. Sad to see her go. I really like her. I hope she’s able to continue campaigning, or even changes her mind and joins another party. Nobody calls out government shitfuckery like Black does!

  4. Which probably means there’s a lot more very bad news about to drop for the SNP.

  5. She almost lost her seat in 2017. So can see writing on wall.

Labour / Tories to gain from con woman Sturgeon being exposed and SNP imploding.

  6. I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I think the SNP are in for a pasting next election, which would normally be massive news but it won’t be a patch on the tory pasting that will happen at the same time.

  7. Not a supporter but total respect. We need more like her in Westminster

  8. Polls suggest the next GE could be tight run in her seat; possibly just not wanting to fight an election that isn’t a foregone conclusion.

  9. Even though I don’t agree with her independence stance, she was a great politician, undoubtedly. She really liked to stick it to the Tories in PMQ’s, and it was always nice to see.

  10. It’s sad , she’s the type of person we need in politics.

  11. She’s actually one of the few decent “will never have a scandal” MPs. I disagree with her about independence but she has always been eloquent when stating her case.

In fact the only time I can remember thinking that she was an idiot was when her, and Jess Philips, said they liked JRM because he was soo polite and I thought “yeah, you’re being fooled and you don’t even see it”.

  12. Anyone have a list of any legislation or the like she helped with?
