Hi there!
Please help me identify the souvenir from Bulgaria – lovely small ceramic pot.
Google lens tells me it’s Trojan Delva – whatever it is 😉
I also noticed that it has a list of ingredients and a spoon so is it something edible?
I tried to open it, however the top is glued with candle wax.

  1. it’s Turkish delight. It’s probably horrible and stale. don’t open it

  2. that’s strange. i’m pretty sure that’s the place i get loose leaf tea from at the market (benivan), but the ingredients list makes it seem it’s either bad quality marmalade or delight (and i didn’t know they made either?). try melting the wax with a lighter, worse case you burn some ancient sugary goo

  3. After doing a little bit research, there should be honey inside.

  4. Troyan = the name of the city

    Delva = pot

    Ingredients list – high-fructose corn syrup, rose oil, citric acid, aroma and food colouring. Probably not edible if it’s expired
