Ah jaysus. Same here. One household falling at a time. Keeping to the 4 household rule etc but looks like it’ll be just us and the pets by Christmas Day.
Our daughter was sick on Christmas a couple of years ago, so I stayed home with her (she was a baby) and the missus went to her family.
I had a whole evening to myself, the telly, the Christmas food and drink and not a passive aggressive comment or argument in sight. I fucking loved it.

A few years ago I was working/living abroad and ended up being alone for Xmas for the first time in my life… I bought all my favorite junk foods, a bunch of wine, got dressed in a sparkle outfit, ate/drank while watching my favorite trash TV show, and was peacefully asleep by 9pm. I was worried that I’d be upset, but it was actually a really lovely, no stress day!

I think you accidentally created an art piece. I’m serious, you just encapsulated the 2021 Christmas experience completley there.
My main take away from the last week is thank christ for antigens and thank christ the government encouraged them. Shame they didn’t overrule NPHET sooner.
I’ve seen countless people test positive on antigens all over social media. Many of which had no symptoms and were just being cautious before meeting up with family tomorrow.
Could you imagine the scenes if we didn’t have this “snake oil” to help take last minute precautions.
