  1. So you post this is in r/Poland where i’m pretty sure every teacher in the country will be fine pronouncing Polish surnames, assuming that’s what you mean.

  3. It works both ways. I’m a Pole living in Poland but my family has lots of non-polish roots from pre-WWII time and my surname sounds very foreign.
    Some teachers never learned how to pronounce it correctly, and it’s not that hard!
