  8. The scandal isn’t about Tubridy anymore. It’s about the RTE board, executives and culture that lead to the use of “Barter” accounts to avoid transparency and corporate governance, and in some cases it was used as a slush fund. And there’s a massive amount of hypocrisy involved too. Claims that they needed to increase license fees, decrease wages and cut services, all while “barter” account credits for millions were off the books only to be used for trips to the world cup, the kclub parties, gift bags and god knows what else.

    Says all you need to say really. Tubridy is neoliberal Ireland summed up for me in a way. A smarmy little nepo baby twat who thrives because nobody is questioning the status quo.

    These people are the rats chewing through the rigging and we all need to cop on before the ship sinks folks.

  10. I don’t get why everyone is so pissed at Ryan, maybe I’m missing something, but he went to work, did what he was paid to do, and got paid for what he did. I don’t see how he’s to blame for everything? Imo, I’m more pissed at RTE for giving their presenters such a stupidly high paycheck in the first place, but that’s just me

  11. You can see that is moving uncomfortably because his pockets are full of gold, cash bundles and jewels. Apparently he demanded to be paid before going onstage in “raw cash money/jewels” before every show.

    The sign off at the end, guaranteeing that people will sleep better that night after his show? Shows the absolute dissonance of this individual! It just all comes across as so insincere.

    I’m amazed staff haven’t closed it ALL down and walked out,

He’s an absolute twat and hypocrite, his money hungry agent is a disgrace and seemed to have huge leverage on RTE but the management at RTE have acted at worse illegally at best incompetent and arrogant. The entire lot of them have made a laughing stock out of tax payers and made a joke of the “Television Licence” shameful stuff.
