Does DB need your passengers name when booking two tickets at a time?

For example, on [bahn.com](https://bahn.com) I bought a 2-passenger ticket but nowhere in the process did it ask for my partners name.

Do they need her name when they scan the tickets or does the code they scan on the DB Nav app say that it’s for two and that’s it?
