  1. Turkey has a score of 5 among many other countries, but 11 countries have a score of 5+ (higher number = worse). So it’s not in the bottom 10.

  2. No, no, no. We support equality.

It ranks among the ten worst nations for *everyone*.

  3. A relative of mine was looking for a job past month. He was offered 10.000 liras (350 euros) for 70+ hours of working in a week.

He is an engineer with outstanding internships at international companies and also graduated from a high ranking university but he is unemployed since two years.

    Terrifying…

  4. I would like to understand how this top 10 is calculated.

Turkey has a score higher then a douzen of countries and has the same score as 33 other countries

See source linked in the article: https://www.globalrightsindex.org/en/2023/countries

On another note. Turkey’s page is the only I could find so far to have a bright red banner that says “Turkey is one of the 10 worst countries in the world for working people”, while no other country has such a thing on their respective pages…

  5. Well, at least Turkey didn’t make it to the bottom 10! Small victories, right?
