Considering Ukraine doesn’t report new Captures, it’ll be fascinating to see the true number of “losses” Russia suffered after this war is over. I have to imagine it’ll be a high ratio.
Smart mobiks. Surrendering, getting to eat and living is much better than being killed for a short, old man’s war.
Good on Ukraine. The more live bodies they bring in , the more they have to trade to bring in their own.

It’s not easy to surrender. The Russia beside you might shoot you if you try to. Just having that conversation with your trench mate could get you killed or turned in. It’s that fear of “going first” that prevents massive desertion.
