The people that say “I believe every individual should have the vaccine be their personal choice” seem to often be the same people who force their views on others by stealing that personal choice from them. It tells you that the demographic of anti vaxxers doing this don’t care about personal choice or autonomy, they care about “winning”.
I really wish people would stop trying to overlay US or *insert country* politics over this issue. In Britain anti vaxxers aren’t “far right propaganda” and half of the other shite being spouted in these comments. The most prominent anti vaxxers happen to be left wing, like ~~Piers Morgan and~~ Piers Corbyn.
On a demographic level anti vaxxers are over represented among the young and ethnic minorities, two groups who are more left leaning than the average. This is broadly a coincidence as far as I can see, however, as anti vaxxers have virtually no alignment with any political parties.
I know Reddit loves to go full America and brand anything negative Neo Nazi Fascist propaganda, but the situation here has as close to no political bend on it as you can get.
