Went to walk my dog. Today I noticed a football neatly placed by the wheel of my car. Whatever, it’s windy af, kids lose their toys, no biggie. But then I see a football exactly like this one neatly placed by the wheel of another (nice) car parked near mine.

1. Kids being kids, that cars immobilizer is quite difficult to beat. What would the point of that be?

   That ball is in a natural pocket between the curbs and the car, is the other one too?

2. Yes, that is exactly what it is.

   Every year these groups use different, yet similar, methods to scope and scout, and every year people will claim that it’s paranoia (or racism) to point out these methods. Yet somehow break-ins start happening like fucking clockwork after people have noticed these things. Every. Fucking. Year.

   It’s not paranoia to notice rocks places on every doorstep, nor is it paranoia to notice that the same van drives slowly past a neighborhood several times a night for a week. And if someone places footballs under multiple cars, it’s most likely to scope if people are away on vacation or not.
