They are a budget option and it’s “designed in Denmark” – but manufactured abroad (like most other bikes anyway). I would probably put it in a similar category as bikes from Decathlon.
The R2 that you’ve found should be with a Tiagra groupset and hydraulic disc brakes, so the components are fine, but the frame itself is just a generic frame.
