This is weird. I actually do agree with the un-Christian leader of the Christian Democrats that the government should not have participated in the Pride march since they’re just “pride-washing” themselves and most of the governing parties hate the Pride community more than anything. Their presence there was pathetic. But agreeing with a Christian Democrat has never happened to me before. Should I seek help?

The fact that people don’t want to agree on anything with a party they don’t like is a problem in politics that can cause issues, see Democrats vs. Republicans. I know that you are probably joking but still, it’s a real issue.
Yes, better seek professional help. 😉
I believe that the decision to participate into these kinds of things is made a long time ago. Many of the participants are people who work in these institutions and not politicians. And like it was said it has been literally a ”tradition” to participate.
KD should have made an effort upfront to prevent it if they were really interested. and not bitch about it afterwards.
My theory is that they knew they could get better points if they let everything happen and then afterwards made some very low effort public complainments about it.
Dont support KD. Their political goals are really messed up.
KD values in a nutshell from the last few weeks:
– Pride bad
– Extreme-right minister nazi connections good
– When said minister talks about abortion, bad
