  1. A guy I worked for once told me “nothing makes me more angry than when you fuck up then try to lie about it. Just own it”

    This guys digging a hole

  2. “Colosseum Never heard of it, built in 1960 wasn’t it?” It’s a tourist attraction, you went there, that’s a piss poor defence.

I just hope on his social media it shows he watched gladiator.

  3. He may not know the exact age (most people wouldn’t) but he definitely knew it was a historical monument. That’s exactly why he carved names on it.

  4. Breaking news: the newer a structure is the more socially acceptable vandalism becomes.

  5. Yeah I mean….with colosseums are everywhere. Nothing better than watching people fight to the death on a Saturday. Easy mistake to make.

  6. Even if that’s the case, why the absolute fuck does it matter?

Here’s a little hint for existing in civilisation – don’t fucking carve anything into something you don’t own!

Maybe someone should carve the word “Twat” into his forehead, because they don’t know how old he is…

  7. To be fair people have been carving their name into it for 2000 years, its tradition

  8. An obvious lie, but then daytime TV quiz shows and radio call-ins remind you people that stupid do actually exist.

  9. So he’s just doubling down on his stupidity and ignorance. Clearly just going to places like this for the gram and taking in not of the historical significance. Just adding to the crowd and taking nothing away.

They keep using the phrase “sincere remorse” but there’s nothing sincere about it. He just got caught and is scared of the consequences like any other stupid child.

  10. To be fair, this brick wall is not original at all and it at most a couple centuries old.
