We have a tradition in B50. We dismantle the rubble of ruined housing 12 days a month, but once a month we go to help dismantle the destroyed cages at shelter for animals from Kyiv and Kherson regions. And we get pet therapy and recharge! Send some treats to the animals with us 🙂

  1. Our volunteers from [B50](https://b50.com.ua/en/about-en/) work 3 days a week to clear the rubble and repair buildings and children’s bomb shelters. Once we were asked to help by the “Best Friends” animal shelter, which was almost completely destroyed by the russians in the spring of 2022. The cages were burned, and many animals were killed or disappeared. The owners rescued and fed the animals even under fire.     The visit here has turned into a tradition for the volunteers to recharge themselves – “Fluffy Sunday”. Our volunteers demolish the damaged enclosures so that the owners can build new and better ones, because many new animals now need homes.In turn, our volunteers receive real pet therapy, play with cats and walk dogs. The shelter takes in animals from Kherson region that were rescued from the water after the dam was blown up.

    In turn, our volunteers receive proper pet therapy, play with cats and take dogs for walks. It’s a great and useful way for us to recharge our batteries for the whole month.     We bring with us treats and medicines for the animals.

    Many shelters were damaged during the invasion and many animals were left without homes and owners.
