[this](https://ca.news.yahoo.com/shift-balance-arms-ukraine-underscored-220000838.html) seems to be the article
Somehow Bloomberg knows how many tanks Russia has. Especially in opposition to OSINT like covertcabal who clearny provides evidence of hundreds of tanks being pulled out of storage. Only a third of Russian T72’s were destroyed so far (same for T90’s). So I call this a BS
Ha ha, no.
Russia is second best Army in Ukraine
And the tanks russia has are getting older.
Not even close in terms of artillery.
We here in the USA are setting on 5700 M60A3. Which use the British 105mm ATgun. I’m not a expert on these but if Ukraine needed them they would be getting them. The Russians have or had comparable numbers of T-72s.
Many of which have been sold to other countries, yes sold. Anytime you see a country equipped with a T-72 supplied from the former USSR it’s one less than they have of those built. The tank production of present day Russia is no where close to Soviet numbers.
That leads to the T-55 T-62 reappearance on the battlefield. If they had them they would be there. The T-72 is a old design not a first rate MBT to keep in reserve. It doesn’t take much to see how bad off they are.
Euromaiden reported this just over a month ago:

Not sure if Bloomberg came to the same conclusions or just copied it, but if two different orgs got the same result it’s something anyway.
Russia: we want to demilitarize ukraine
1 1/3 year in: ukraine is gonna demilitarize us
Bruh. These numbers are literally just the pre-war Military Balance numbers minus the Oryx losses plus confirmed deliveries to Ukraine. They’re next to useless considering Russia has been reactivating tanks from storage that were never even listed as being in active service. The T-62/T-64 losses alone would invalidate this analysis claiming Ukraine has more tanks that Russia. There’s over 100 confirmed losses, none of which are accounted for in the 3400 pre-war number.
