Is there any aspect of life in this country that shouldn’t distress people?
The country has been sold down the river – the rug pulled from underneath everyone.
But don’t worry, Sunak is on it and then the main event, good old Keith will turn up and shout at kids along the way.. all whilst wanting to “give them a voice”.
To be honest, I am in my 30’s and feel pretty distressed on the daily. Life doesn’t feel like it has much of a meaning, I work for myself, I earn an ok salary to put food in-front of me and pay my rent. Everything just feels really grey and cry myself to sleep sometimes for what feels like no reason.
I’d imagine it’s pretty much most adult’s as my friends have expressed a few concerning flags too.
This country is shit at every thing but pulling up ladders. No wonder the youth of today are feeling down and worried. I imagine alot of adults are aswell! Be 18, consider Uni but don’t want to take the debt? Screwed. No family to dump you some money for a deposit? Screwed. Car broke down, yeah 2nd hand prices have jumped 50% so suck up that repair bill. Constantly having bullshit culture wars shit at us by literal morons without a shred of decency. The countries a dump and its made worse by the fact you absolutely know the upper echelon have never had it so good.
All for an oldie to turn around and say they had it worse.

Thanks Jack
If a 28 year old man like myself is finding a hard time to get my own place to live then I really worry about the bleak future of the younger kids.
Doesnt have much to do with COVID, but it definitely has everything to do with the Tories fucking everything up and denying it in the face of insurmountable evidence.
I’m not surprised – it’s been awful and I don’t hear much positivity or inspiration about the future. There’s no sense of community to try and pull together to get through.
And although taking mental health seriously is long overdue it does feel like we are also being told that we should be having mental health problems at every opportunity. But then can’t actually access any help.
perhaps it is because the floor has been sold out from beneath their feet
