Many years ago (about 20, I think, I was still in school back then) we were on vacation at the “Neusiedler See” in the very east of Austria, about 5 or 10km from the Hungarian border.
Now that I see your meal I just remembered that we went to a restaurant at the lake, I think it was called the “Steckerlfisch” (which I guess is Austrian for “Fish on a Stick”), that also sold nice fish dishes close to the lake. Iirc it was well known locally, always a lot of people there.
Not really related – but seeing your meal from a Hungarian lake just brought back that old memory from another lake (I assume ;-)) at the border between Austria and Hungary.
