I saw this photo online and found it amusing. Since the text on the door is in English, but the fire department signage is in Icelandic, I assume this is at some kind of tourist destination, like a hotel or a shop.
The explanation (and its Postscript) seem a bit silly, but I wondered if there was an actual story to it, or just what kind of place this was. If you know, please mention it here. Takk fyrir hjálpina! ❤️

We could tell you.. but then we would have to lock you in a safe in a secret place and then loose that key its a total hassle keeping track of whom we have locked up where and were we lost the keys.
