Hard to see poor Timmy winning his seat back in any case. Crowe has totally eaten his lunch.
Rumour is that he’ll try to run for MEP though.

I said that yesterday, what Marty did is dodgy for different reasons, but not related directly to the gravy train in RTE. The management/exec threw him under the bus to divert attention from the massive over paying of exec/management and a small cohort of “talent” and the squandering of public money.
I agree with him, it’s hard be mad at marty and it was a well used distraction by rte.
In fairness to marty he does a lot of voluntary work for the gaa and travels all over. Plenty of gaa players and managers are brand ambassadors for car companies
