  1. The “War on Drugs” is the american version of a “Special Operation”.

  2. It failed because the decision makers are on drugs. They never believed in it and millions died for it.

  3. Legalisation might have been appropriate once but if you look at Portland the picture isn’t pretty. Most drugs can be legal but legal fentanyl does not produce any good outcome.

  4. Me entering the war on drugs, on the side of drugs.

  5. Scotland. Home to a massive drug problem, with multiple deaths.

“What if we just, like, made it legal?”

  6. Pls why do people only link articles with missleading titles here, like, who is saying what? The entirety of Scotland just decided to be in favour of legal drugs or like what?

  7. When I read this at first I thought they were talking about the band…

About time they stop thinking all drugs are bad, and start paving the way to a healthier society, help those in need instead of shunning them.

Too bad in Italy right now there’s the opposite going on, new slogan is literally “all drugs are bad”, and there’s more and more of a no tolerance policy, of course just in the poorer areas, if you’re a CEO or affiliated to a politician you can do all the coke you want, business expense.

  8. Good. Time to legalize. Take the money away from criminal groups and use the tax revenue to treat addicts.

  9. Don’t worry, the UK government will make sure that nothing even remotely progressive happens and that it’ll be business as usual when it comes to this kind of thing (regardless of the overwhelming evidence).
