Fantastic place – went there a couple off times in the 80’s or early 90’s. Locals met Backpackers from the bus and we stayed in rooms locals let out, such lovely people. Went to the fantastic local festival. Following day out on fishing boats that were taking part in a Catholic ceremony. Me and my brother were at the harbour and were beckoned on board by a crazy fisherman only to head out into the rolling Atlantic, no idea what was happening, then all the boats started setting fireworks off, great times, great people. No mobiles then just memories. Keep meaning to go back
