  1. A few thoughts

It’s hard to even have an opinion on this without knowing exactly what’s being my taught/show kids and what exactly this group disagree with. They say a video showing a trans 7 year old? In what context? It’s too vague for an opinion

It’s also no surprise what community it is gathering and protesting

And I’m sure this will upset someone, but it’s the truth, a video got pretty popular of a pride match chanting “we’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” – whether that’s a joke or tongue in cheek or whatever, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. I know it was in the states but they’re literally giving ammo to any anti-trans people out there. No wonder these kinda protests gather steam.

  2. I need help with this story.

I’m pro LGBT and pro immigration & Islam.

I know we need to be against far right people & white supremacists like the ones that protest about books in schools teaching about gay people to children.

I know we need to defend Muslims from these who don’t like their culture and stop them from enriching us.

    So I’m like totally confused.

Are the protesters far right? I didn’t think Muslims could be far right?

Are the teachers in the school white supremacists by trying to teach Muslims about non straight sexual education?

If you could let me who the bad people are that I can call a bigot that would be nice.

  3. Not this again. Let kids be educated, otherwise we raise another generation of morons

  4. From the article, it says that the children were being shown a video of a trans child. I’m fairly confident that if there was anything actually sexual going on in the video, that would get a mention.

I really detest this opinion that anything that disagrees with your own view of how people should be is automatically shameful and somehow forcing sex onto these kids.

I think it says a lot more about the people shouting, that they view someone saying they feel like themselves when in a certain type of relationship or when viewed as male instead of female or vice versa, as somehow an inherently sexual experience.

For my thought-penny, I think it tends more towards them finding that sexually appealing and projecting it onto the populace as a whole.

  5. Can we maybe agree that 100 parents protesting is also equal to tens of thousands of parents not protesting.
