Covid self-isolation cut to seven days for jabbed people in England

  1. What science is this based on? The Lateral flow tests give false-positives, so now were clearing people on potential false negatives too? The Isolation period dropped form 14 days, to 10, to now 7 and no a single shred of scientific basis has been given for this reduction, just “businesses need the help”.

  2. Currently on day 8 of my isolation. I’m still sick, coughing and feel like trash. Now I’m supposed to be going back to work to infect everyone else? Really?

And all on a negative lateral flow. When I got symptoms I did 5 tests in the first day. 2 of 5 came back negative. Felt like hell. Did a PCR and low and behold I’m positive.

The lft tests arnt reliable. We already have exponential growth of infections and then this. I dont get it.

  3. I tested positive over 2 weeks ago. I’ve done my isolation and was boosted in September.

My lateral flow is still showing as positive.

  4. > Those who leave self-isolation on or after day seven are “strongly advised” to limit close contact with other people in crowded or poorly ventilated spaces, work from home and minimise contact with anyone who is at higher risk of severe illness if infected with Covid-19, the agency added

    Says it all really.

  5. Current on day 6 of my isolation. Haven’t been or felt sick now since day 3. My isolation would have ended after Christmas day but now instead I can enjoy the remaining holiday I have and see my family.

  6. Does anyone remember when quarantine was 14 days because it was based on the incubation period of the virus? We seem to have completely forgotten, all over the World, why it was supposed to be 14 days.
