Quote: “If such **unscrupulous** actions of Naftogaz continue…” Laughing my ass off at how absolutely fucking hypocritical ruzzians be.
Ruzzians bring hypocrisy to new levels. The one thing they’re good at.
Just from reading the article it sounds like Gazprom is a dead beat company that wasn’t fulfilling it’s agreements before the war. Russians not fulfilling signed promises surprises, surprise.
They should file petition in person, in Hague court.
🤣 If you don’t start being nice to me, I will hurt us BOTH!
A summary of the situation according to the article:

Gazprom: How about you pump our gas through Ukraine to the rest of Europe?
Naftogaz: Okay but this can be a volatile market, we have fixed costs and shit. We need some guarantees here.
Gazprom: Okay how about a 5 year contract, with a 10 year renewal option?
Naftogaz: Throw in a guaranteed minimum volume of gas. Let’s say an average of 50Bn m^(3) per year through the Sokhranivka gas transit point.
Gazprom: Guaranteed how?
Naftogaz: You pay for that volume regardless of whether you ship it.
Gazprom: Okay sounds good. Let’s shake hands on it.
Naftogaz: Done.
Gazprom: Sweet.
Naftogaz: …
Gazprom: …
Naftogaz: Hey by the way.
Gazprom: Yes?
Naftogaz: I noticed that there is an invasion going on now.
Gazprom: Oh yes, quite a tragedy.
Naftogaz: Sure, sure, it’s just… Sokhranivka is now occupied and we can’t transfer gas through there anymore.
Gazprom: Ah that’s too bad, nothing to be done though.
Naftogaz: Well you can increase your gas pumping through Sudzha gas transit point.
Gazprom: Nah.
Naftogaz: Well either way remember you still have to pay the minimum.
Gazprom: What?!? No way! We say it’s Sokhranivka or nothing. And you say Sokhranivka is impossible. Well that’s just too bad for the contract then.
Naftogaz: That’s literally the opposite of what you agreed to. We are filing an international arbitration complaint.
Gazprom: Wait no way! We will stall as much as possible.
Naftogaz: Also we are suing you in America.
Gazprom: What??!? If you do this we will terminate all cooperation with the arbitration proceedings.
Naftogaz: You were already not cooperating.
Gazprom: But we hadn’t *announced* that we weren’t cooperating.
Naftogaz: So it was non-cooperation under false pretenses?
Gazprom: Ye — *no!* No! It was … an alternative cooperation mode.
Naftogaz: Uh huh. You know who’d love to hear all about that?
Gazprom: Who?
Naftogaz: Our American lawyers.
Gazprom: *Fuuuuuu–*
Gazprom the gas company or gazprom the orc militia?
